Of baking and cooking

Back to the last day of January, we came up with this random plan to bake and have a sleepover at Sie Yii's since it was a public holiday the next day, Federal Territory Day to be exact. Since it was still CNY that time, we decided to bake chocolate chip cookies this time round :D It's really awesome how my bunch of friends actually enjoy baking like I do and I think it's somehow a fun activity to have once in a while for our bonding sesh <( ̄︶ ̄)>

Alright back to the cookies, all you need is 500mg of butter, a pack of biscuit premix and lots of chocolate chips! For any baking noobies beginners, I can assure that biscuit premix flour definitely makes things much more easier and you will NEVER EVER fail on your first attempt unless you're not following the steps correctly.
Sie Yii got all these from Guten Braun, a baking shop in PJ.

First, you'll need to beat the butter. We're using the conventional way to train our biceps *show biceps*

So when it's all creamy and fluffy like the photo on the left, you can now add in the premix flour.

We prepared 2 trays and a half of mini cookies paper holders.

Mix everything and knead it into a dough, then...you knows what's the fun part?

Pouring in the chocolate chips and let it rain all over the doughヽ( ^ 。^ )丿

Commercial break; Doggie cookies! Cute isn't it?

Make sure that the chocolate chips are mixed evenly.
Then you can pick up the dough with two spoons and place the small amount of the cookie dough into these mini cups. It will take forever if you're doing it alone, so this is where your friends play their part! (;

No work, no cookies for you guys! Soon to be future good wives at work :P

Bake the cookies at 170°C for around 25-30 minutes or until it turned golden brown.

Voila! Mini chocolate chips cookies are done and these bite-sized treats are super addictive!
The next afternoon, we decided to cook spaghetti instead cause it's less time consuming and easiest food to cook!
The ingredients and we actually bought few pieces of chicken breasts and minced it instead of buying the ready made minced chicken. Look how we poked the spaghetti through those sausages! (Saw in on the internet before :P)

Then it turned out like this!! Cool, no? ( ^ ω ^ )/

Our potwok of gold filled with thick Bolognese paste (Y)
I guess the pasta was real delish cause everyone finished their pasta till the last strand and had the plate licked clean YUMMMMS
After having our tummy filled, we had our calories burned as well with the intense WII session that got everyone's muscle sore so bad for the next few days LOL
Last but not least, a group photo of the attendees :D
Blessed Sunday everyone!
xx
